Equity Financing

Equity Financing is raising capital by selling ownership interests (common or preferred) to investors, typically documented through a term sheet and definitive financing agreements. Equity Financing dilutes existing holders but can provide long-duration capital, and Equity Financing terms set governance, information rights, and protective provisions.
