Finder’s Fee

A Finder’s Fee is a success-based payment made to a party that introduces an investor, buyer, or other counterparty who ultimately completes a transaction. In VC and M&A, a Finder’s Fee may be structured as a percentage of proceeds, a fixed amount, or a mix of cash and equity, and it must be handled carefully to comply with applicable securities and brokerage rules.
