Strategic Investment

Strategic Investment is an investment made by a corporate or strategic party primarily to advance a business objective (such as partnership access, product integration, distribution, or competitive positioning) rather than purely to maximize financial return. In venture deals, a Strategic Investment can provide commercial leverage and credibility, and Strategic Investment terms may include commercial agreements, information rights, or restrictions designed to protect the strategic investor’s interests.
