The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is the company’s top executive, responsible for setting strategy and overall direction and for making sure the organization executes on its goals.

Typically, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO):
  • leads the senior management team,
  • makes major operating and investment decisions, and
  • reports to (and is accountable to) the board of directors.
