Private Equity

Private Equity is an asset class and investment strategy involving investments in private companies (or taking public companies private) with the goal of improving value and exiting through a sale or public offering. In dealmaking, Private Equity firms often use leverage and operational initiatives, and Private Equity transactions may include buyouts, growth equity, and recapitalizations.
