Round

A Round is a discrete financing event in which a company raises capital under a defined set of terms, such as a seed round, Series A, or bridge round, typically documented with a term sheet and closing documents. In venture capital, a Round establishes a valuation reference point and can reset governance and investor rights, and the Round’s structure (priced equity vs. convertible) affects dilution and signaling.
