Stockholders

Stockholders are individuals or entities that own shares of a corporation, giving them economic rights (and usually voting rights) according to the class of stock they hold. In governance and transactions, Stockholders approve certain actions (like mergers and charter amendments) and receive proceeds in exits, and Stockholders’ rights and priorities are determined by the charter, bylaws, and stockholder agreements.
