Subsidiary

Subsidiary is a company that is controlled by another company (the parent), typically through majority ownership of voting stock or other control rights. In M&A and corporate structuring, Subsidiary relationships matter for consolidation, guarantees, liens, and regulatory approvals, and Subsidiary lists are standard diligence schedules in financings and acquisitions.
