Venture Capitalist (VC)

A Venture Capitalist (VC) is an investor (or investment professional) who invests in high-growth private companies, typically through a venture fund, and supports portfolio companies through governance and strategic help. In financings, a Venture Capitalist (VC) may lead rounds, negotiate terms, take board seats, and provide follow-on capital, and the Venture Capitalist (VC) role is central to the venture ecosystem.
