Articles of Incorporation

Articles of Incorporation is a legal document that is filed with the secretary of state to create a corporation. Articles of Incorporation will contain the corporation’s basic information (name, registered agent, office address, share structure, etc.). Articles of Incorporation is also commonly referred to as a “Charter” or a “Certificate of Incorporation.”
