Shareholders Agreement

A shareholders agreement is a document that governs the relationship between the shareholders of a startup company. A shareholders agreement often concerns issues such as each shareholder’s right to transfer his or her shares, rights of first refusal on future sales of the startup’s stock, redemptions of a shareholder’s stock upon death or disability, etc.
