Price Per Share

The Price Per Share is the amount paid for one share of stock in a financing or transaction, typically calculated from valuation divided by the relevant capitalization (often fully diluted shares). In venture rounds, Price Per Share drives the number of shares issued to investors and the resulting dilution, and Price Per Share also affects conversion prices, option strike benchmarking, and cap table modeling.
